One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Thursday evening in Clovis. According to information provided by Your Central Valley, the collision took place at 6:46 p.m. in Clovis at the intersection of Sierra Avenue and Cypress Avenue on March 21, 2024.
Clovis Police were called to the scene, where they found that a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle collided near the intersection. The passenger vehicle was allegedly pulling out of a side street while the motorcyclist was traveling west, which caused them to collide.
Due to the force of the collision, the motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle and onto the ground. The motorcycle was wedged underneath the back of the passenger vehicle, which led to extensive damages.
Several emergency responders were dispatched to the scene. The adult male motorcyclist was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver of the passenger vehicle was not hurt.
No further details have been released but police continue to investigate the collision.
