Tulare County, CA – On the evening of Friday, September 11, 2026, a pedestrian collision resulted in a man losing his life on Highway 99, according to KSEE/KGPE.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 8:30 PM on northbound Highway 99 south of Avenue 384, a rural agricultural stretch of highway in Tulare County.
Authorities said the man walked into the lanes of traffic and was struck by the right side of a Lexus SUV traveling northbound. He died from his injuries. The driver of the Lexus was uninjured.
