Bakersfield, CA – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is currently investigating a rollover incident that occurred around 3:55 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 202, on eastbound Highway 178 at Union Avenue, according to KBAK. The incident involved a blue Ford pickup truck and a white Scion xD that crashed, leading to the Scion rolling down a 50-foot embankment.
The crash resulted in at least one person being transported to the hospital, while one of the drivers involved remained uninjured, as reported by CHP. Bakersfield Fire Department firefighters were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance. However, the cause of the crash remains unknown at this time.
