Two people were seriously injured in a motorcycle crash that happened on a roadway in Bakersfield on Thursday evening. The accident, according to KGET news, occurred just after 8:18 p.m. on Chester Avenue on the evening of May 2, 2024.

When Bakersfield Police arrived on scene, they discovered that a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided on Chester Avenue around the area of 4th Street. Police did not comment on the circumstances leading up to the accident but said that the motorcycle was badly damaged, with debris scattered all over the area after the crash.

Two victims who were on the motorcycle at the time of the accident sustained serious injuries in the accident. The two victims were hospitalized with moderate to major injuries, though their current conditions are not yet known.

Bakersfield Police continue their investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident.
