Auburn, CA – On the afternoon of Saturday, September 19, 2026, a single-vehicle collision resulted in a downed power pole and left two people hospitalized on Joeger Road, according to FOX40.
Cal Fire NEU reports that the accident took place on Joeger Road in North Auburn, a rural roadway in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Placer County.
Authorities said a pickup truck carrying three occupants went off the roadway and struck a power pole, knocking it into the road. Two of the three occupants were transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
Joeger Road was closed between Bell Road and Mount Vernon Road until 9:00 PM.
