Strathmore, CA – On the evening of Wednesday, July 8, 2026, a single-vehicle motorcycle collision resulted in the death of a 35-year-old Porterville man, according to KSEE/KGPE.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 8:00 PM on Avenue 176 east of Road 276.
Authorities said the man was riding a 2024 Harley-Davidson westbound on Avenue 176 when, for reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a perimeter fence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information is asked to contact the CHP Porterville Area office. The identity of the deceased had not been officially released at the time of reporting. The investigation remains ongoing.
