Sacramento, CA – On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 15, 2026, a collision left two people hospitalized after a vehicle struck a pedestrian and crashed into a building, according to FOX40.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place just before 3:30 PM in the 2600 block of El Camino Avenue.
Authorities said Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District crews responded to reports of a collision involving a structure and arrived to find that a vehicle had struck a pedestrian before crashing into the side of a building.
Two individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. One of those transported was the pedestrian, while the identity of the second injured party had not been confirmed at the time of reporting.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. No additional details had been released at the time of reporting. The investigation remains ongoing.
