Nipomo, CA ‒ On the night of Tuesday, December 17, 2024, a two-car collision resulted in three people being hospitalized in Nipomo, according to KEYT.

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL Fire) San Luis Obispo reported that the accident took place near the intersection of Orchard Road and Faith Drive.

The impact resulted in two of those involved in the collision being trapped within their vehicles. Emergency responders with CAL Fire SLO helped to extract the injured and provide them transportation to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Further details have not yet been released regarding the identities of those involved, the severity of their injuries, or the circumstances leading to the crash. Investigators have not determined whether impairment from drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.

Personal Injury Claims

Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and under California’s Comparative Liability rule, several parties can share partial responsibility. A personal injury attorney can play a crucial role in helping victims establish legal responsibility after a traffic accident.

Should evidence reveal that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a personal injury claim with the responsible party’s insurance. This can provide compensation to help cover damages such as hospital bills and lost income during recovery.

If you or someone you love was harmed in an accident like the one described here, feel free to contact Maison Law for any questions or to receive a no-cost, no-obligation case assessment.
