Stockton, CA – On the early morning of Friday, May 30, 2025, a single-vehicle crash resulted in possible major injuries, according to KCRA.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 3:52 AM near eastbound Highway 4, just east of Tracy Boulevard in San Joaquin County.

Preliminary information indicates that a car veered off the roadway and entered Trapper Slough. The specific cause of the crash remains undetermined.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported and assessed injuries as potentially major. Further updates on the driver’s condition have not been released.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Single-Vehicle Collisions

In some cases, investigations may reveal that even in a single-vehicle accident, nearby drivers or unsafe road features share some responsibility. California’s Comparative Negligence rule means that, even if those injured in accidents are found partially at fault, they may still be eligible to receive partial compensation for damages.
