Solano County, CA – On the early morning of Monday, April 7, 2025, a single-vehicle crash near Rockville Hills Park resulted in moderate injuries to one person, according to CBS13.

The Fairfield Fire Department reports that the accident took place around 7:00 AM along Rockville Road near the entrance to Rockville Hills Park.

Emergency responders arrived to find the vehicle severely damaged after it had left the roadway and struck a tree. Fire crews used specialized equipment to extricate the driver from the wreckage. The driver, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. Rockville Road remained blocked for several hours during the response and investigation.

Single-Vehicle Collisions

In some cases, investigations may reveal that even in a single-vehicle accident, nearby drivers or unsafe road features share some responsibility. California’s Comparative Negligence rule means that even if those injured in accidents are found partially at fault, they may still be eligible to receive partial compensation for damages.
