Del Rio, CA – On the morning of Friday, February 14, 2025, a single-vehicle crash occurred in the Del Rio area of Stanislaus County, resulting in at least one reported injury, according to KCRA.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the accident took place around 9:59 AM at the intersection of Ladd Road and McHenry Avenue. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to assess the situation, but details on the severity of the injuries have not been confirmed.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash, and it remains unclear whether any external factors contributed. The CHP continues to investigate.

Single-Vehicle Collisions & Comparative Negligence

In some cases, investigations may reveal that even in a single-vehicle accident, nearby drivers or unsafe road features share some responsibility.

California’s Comparative Negligence rule means that, even if those injured in accidents are found partially at fault, they may still be eligible to receive partial compensation for damages.
