On Monday, one person was killed in a fatal car accident that took place on a highway in Fresno. ABC30 reported that the accident took place around 6:30 p.m. on Highway 180 close to the Floyd Avenue area on the evening of November 27, 2023.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene, where they discovered that three vehicles collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. The multi-vehicle collision caused extensive damages.
Due to the severity of the accident, one person was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to their injuries. At least two other people sustained injuries in the collision. They were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Fresno County officials continue their investigation into the circumstances that led up to the accident.
