Lost Hills, CA – A crash involving a pickup truck and a Razor off-road vehicle on Highway 33 sent at least one person to the hospital Monday evening, September 16, 2024, according to KBAK.

The accident occurred around 6:08 PM in front of the Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds plant, located at 13646 Highway 33 in Lost Hills. Details regarding the cause of the crash are still under investigation, and authorities have not yet determined the full extent of the injuries.

The Razor involved in the accident is a type of off-road vehicle typically used for recreational purposes. These vehicles are designed for rugged terrains, but they often lack safety measures that would make them roadworthy. Collisions between Razors and larger vehicles can result in severe damage, especially when traveling at higher speeds or in low-visibility conditions.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has not released further information about the condition of the individual transported to the hospital, and their identity remains undisclosed at this time. Investigators are working to determine what led to the collision and whether any other factors contributed to the incident.

Personal Injury Claims

Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and in California, several parties can share partial liability. A personal injury attorney plays a crucial role in helping victims establish legal responsibility after a traffic accident.

If it is found that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a personal injury claim with the responsible party’s insurance. This can provide compensation to help cover damages such as hospital bills and lost income during recovery.
