Kings County, CA – In the early hours of Sunday morning, August 12, 2024, a serious collision between a sedan and a gas tanker on State Route 43 in Kings County left one driver with serious injuries, according to ABC30. The accident took place near Grangeville Boulevard in Hanford at approximately 4:00 AM.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the tanker had veered off the road, with the sedan severely damaged nearby. The driver of the sedan sustained significant injuries and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

While the exact cause of the collision remains unknown, investigators are working diligently to piece together the events that led to the crash.

The aftermath of the accident saw emergency crews working for several hours to manage the scene. Specialized teams were brought in to sweep up spilled fluids and safely remove the gas tanker from its position off the roadway. Authorities have confirmed that neither of the tankers involved in the incident was compromised, and there was no spillage of hazardous materials.

Personal Injury Claims

After a vehicular accident, victims and their families often face not only emotional distress but also the sudden financial burdens of medical bills, loss of income during recovery, and, in tragic cases, burial expenses.

These costs should be borne by those responsible for causing the injuries and their insurance provider. However, insurance companies typically try to minimize the compensation for any claim they cannot deny. This is why having the assistance of a skilled personal injury attorney is crucial to ensuring justice for victims of vehicular accidents.
