Orangevale, CA – On the evening of Monday, March 24, 2025, a woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle while riding her bicycle, according to KCRA.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the incident occurred around 8:25 PM near the intersection of Beauregard Way and Madison Avenue.

Authorities state that the woman was riding her bicycle on the crosswalk of Madison Avenue when a van struck her.

The driver of the van remained at the scene and was not injured. CHP officials noted that DUI was not believed to be a factor in the crash. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and authorities have not provided additional details.
