Arden-Arcade, CA – A serious two-vehicle collision in the Arden-Arcade area on Saturday night, October 12, 2024, sent three people to the hospital, according to ABC10.

The accident occurred around 7:35 PM at the intersection of Alta Arden Expressway and Bell Street, involving a silver SUV and a black sedan.

Officials reported that two of the individuals involved were critically injured, while a third sustained minor injuries. Firefighters had to perform an extrication process to remove victims from the vehicles due to the severity of the collision.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a female driver and an unidentified passenger were in the SUV, while two female passengers were in the sedan. The identities of those involved have not yet been released.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the accident.

Personal Injury Claims

Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and in California, several parties can share partial liability. A personal injury attorney plays a crucial role in helping victims establish legal responsibility after a traffic accident.

If it is found that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a personal injury claim with the responsible party’s insurance. This can provide compensation to help cover damages such as hospital bills and lost income during recovery.
