Fairfield, CA – On the afternoon of Wednesday, September 17, 2025, a two-vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital with moderate injuries, according to ABC10.

The Fairfield Police Department reports that the accident took place around 12:15 PM near the intersection of Airbase Parkway and Wiley, just east of Walters Road.

Authorities said both vehicles sustained visible damage, but no additional injuries were reported at the scene. Emergency responders arrived promptly and provided on-site care before transporting the two injured occupants to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Police have not yet released the identities of those involved. They also have not determined the exact cause of the collision, and an investigation is ongoing.

Officials continue to urge anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward and provide information to assist with the investigation

Personal Injury Claims & Comparative Negligence

Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and under California’s Comparative Negligence rule, several parties can share partial responsibility.

Should evidence reveal that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a Personal Injury Claim with the responsible party’s insurance, which can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.
