Buttonwillow, CA – On the evening of Saturday, May 3, 2025, at least one person sustained major injuries in a single-vehicle crash near Buttonwillow, according to KBAK.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the crash was reported around 8:30 PM along Elk Hills Road.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and confirmed that a single vehicle had crashed under circumstances that remain under investigation.

At least one occupant of the vehicle suffered major injuries and was transported by first responders to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released the identity of the injured party or any information regarding the cause of the crash.

No other vehicles were reported to be involved. Additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
