Bodfish, CA – On the afternoon of Monday, October 27, 2025, at least one person was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle that had not been placed in park, according to KBAK.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the incident occurred shortly before 3:00 PM in the 600 block of Sycamore Street in the Bodfish area.
Authorities confirmed that the victim sustained serious injuries as a result of a collision with an unattended vehicle. The individual was provided medical aid at the scene before being hospitalized for further treatment.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
