Visalia, CA – On the early morning of Thursday, April 10, 2025, a motorcyclist sustained injuries after striking an electrical box and being ejected from the vehicle, according to KSEE.

The Visalia Police Department reports that the crash occurred around 2:42 AM near the intersection of Ben Maddox Way and Iris Avenue.

Officers arrived on the scene to find a solo motorcycle collision involving a rider who had been thrown from the motorcycle after impact with an electrical utility box. The injured rider was transported to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

Authorities say the Visalia Police Department Traffic Unit is actively investigating the incident and is encouraging anyone with information to come forward.

Single-Vehicle Collisions

In some cases, investigations may reveal that even in a single-vehicle accident, nearby drivers or unsafe road features share some responsibility. California’s Comparative Negligence rule means that, even if those injured in accidents are found partially at fault, they may still be eligible to receive partial compensation for damages.
