Modesto, CA – On the evening of Sunday, June 16, 2025, a single-vehicle motorcycle crash left an 18-year-old Modesto man with serious injuries, according to The Modesto Bee.
The Modesto Police Department reports that the accident took place around 7:12 PM near the intersection of Standiford Avenue and Polaris Street.
Emergency responders from the Modesto Police Department, Modesto Fire Department, and local EMS arrived to find the motorcyclist injured after he crashed into a fence while traveling westbound on Standiford Avenue. Authorities stated that no other vehicles were involved in the incident, and the motorcyclist appeared to have lost control before colliding with the fence.
The rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. As of Tuesday morning, his current condition had not been publicly released.
Police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
