Fairfield, CA – A bicyclist was hospitalized Friday, September 13, 2024, after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision, according to Fox40.
The accident occurred around 7:55 PM at the intersection of Link Road and Pittman Road, prompting several 911 calls.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the injured bicyclist, who was quickly transported to the hospital. The driver involved in the collision fled the scene before police arrived.
Fairfield Police have not yet obtained a description of the suspect’s vehicle and are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the accident or the driver to contact Fairfield Police as they continue their investigation.
