El Dorado County, CA – On the afternoon of Saturday, July 12, 2025, a traffic collision resulted in fatal injuries to a young person, according to KCRA.
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident took place around 2:44 PM in the 4000 block of Jacobus Drive in the Garden Valley area.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the juvenile was a pedestrian or an occupant of a vehicle at the time of the crash. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but the child was pronounced dead shortly after the incident. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification.
