Modesto, CA – On the evening of Saturday, August 16, 2025, a single-vehicle collision left one person injured after striking a tree, according to FOX40.
A combined effort from Modesto, Stanislaus, and Turlock fire agencies responded to the accident, which took place around 8:00 PM on Highway 99 near Sisk Road.
Authorities say the vehicle left the roadway, traveled through a fence, and crashed into a tree. Emergency responders from Engine 6 arrived first at the scene, followed by Engine 11, Truck 5, and BC1. Crews located one patient trapped inside the vehicle.
Firefighters performed an extraction to free the victim from the wreckage. Paramedics then transported the injured person to a local hospital for treatment. Officials have not released the patient’s identity or the extent of their injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
