Fresno County, CA – On the morning of Tuesday, October 14, 2025, a two-vehicle collision left a woman trapped in her vehicle after a power pole fell onto it, according to KSEE.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the crash took place around 6:30 AM at the intersection of Central and DeWolf avenues.
The impact caused a nearby power pole to collapse, landing on one of the trucks and trapping the female driver inside.
Pacific Gas and Electric crews arrived at the scene and deenergized the live power line, allowing emergency personnel to safely free the woman. She was treated at the scene, though it remains unclear if she was later taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Authorities confirmed that 796 customers in the surrounding area lost power following the collision. Most service has since been restored.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation as officials continue to assess the circumstances that led to the impact.
Personal Injury Claims
When the actions of reckless drivers cause others to be injured, the cost of recovery should not be borne by their victims. Filing a Personal Injury claim with the at-fault party’s insurance can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.
