Sacramento County Multi-Vehicle Accidents and Personal Injury Claims
California law operates under the legal principle of comparative negligence, which means that liability in an accident can be shared among multiple parties. Multi-vehicle collisions can bring up complex issues of fault, and investigators examine crash site evidence to determine how liability is allotted.
If another party bears at least partial responsibility for the injuries received in this accident, the injured party may have grounds to pursue a personal injury claim. A personal injury claim can provide compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and other damages. However, if the injured party shares liability for their injuries, that could reduce any settlement received.
