Santa Cruz County, CA – On the morning of Monday, January 30, 2024, a two-car crash on State Highway 129 east of Watsonville left two men hospitalized with major injuries, according to CBS Bay Area.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 AM near Rogge Lane. Authorities reported that the injured individuals, aged 21 and 34, were in stable condition as of Monday afternoon.
Details surrounding the collision remain unclear, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
In a fortunate turn of events, four dogs riding in one of the involved vehicles survived the crash. They have been transported to the county animal shelter under the care of authorities.
The California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
Personal Injury Claims
After a vehicular accident, in addition to emotional distress, victims and their families can be overwhelmed with the sudden financial burdens of medical bills, loss of income due to recovery time, and in unfortunate circumstances, burial fees.
The responsibility for these costs should fall upon the driver responsible for such injuries and their insurance provider. However, insurance companies will try to minimize the compensation for any claim they cannot deny, which is why having the help of a skilled personal injury attorney can prove crucial in ensuring justice for victims of vehicular accidents.
