McKinley, Peach Ave Crash Injures 3 in Fresno

Fresno, CA – On the evening of Tuesday, January 20, 2026, a collision at a busy East Central Fresno intersection resulted in injuries to three people, according to ABC30.

Authorities said the crash occurred at the intersection of McKinley and Peach avenues when one vehicle entered the intersection against a red traffic signal and collided with another vehicle that was proceeding lawfully through the intersection.

Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with officers during the investigation. Police reported that the two drivers and one passenger were transported to a local hospital as a precaution. All three were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers stated that alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the collision based on information available at the scene.

The incident remains under review as police complete their report and document contributing factors consistent with department protocol.

Stop Sign Laws

California Law requires drivers to come to a complete stop at a Stop sign (California Vehicle Code 22450). Drivers may only enter the intersection when it appears safe for all parties to do so (California Vehicle Code 21802).

Personal Injury Claims

After a traffic accident, victims and their families often deal with unexpected financial burdens, such as medical bills, lost income, and, in the worst cases, burial costs. A Personal Injury Claim allows accident victims to hold the at-fault party financially responsible for their cost of care.
