Visalia, CA – On the morning of Sunday, January 18, 2026, a pedestrian collision resulted in the death of a woman after she was struck by a vehicle that left the scene, according to KSEE.
The Visalia Police Department reports that the accident occurred around 6:15 AM near the intersection of Giddings Street and Howard Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, they confirmed that the driver of the striking vehicle had fled and was not at the scene.
