Jensen, Temperance Ave Crash Injures Driver in Fresno County

Fresno County, CA – On the afternoon of Sunday, February 8, 2026, an 18-year-old Sanger resident sustained moderate injuries following a single-vehicle crash, according to The Fresno Bee.

The California Highway Patrol reports the collision occurred around 4:22 PM at the intersection of Jensen and Temperance avenues. Officers arrived at the scene and found a vehicle overturned on the west side of Temperance Avenue.

Investigators determined the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed and made an unsafe movement prior to the crash. As a result, the vehicle overturned, trapping the driver underneath.

Fire crews responded to assist and conducted an extrication to safely remove the driver from beneath the vehicle. Emergency medical personnel then transported the teen to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

According to CHP, drugs and/or alcohol are suspected to have contributed to the crash. The incident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause.

Single-Vehicle Collisions

In some cases, investigations may reveal that even in a single-vehicle accident, nearby drivers or unsafe road features share some responsibility. California’s Comparative Negligence rule means that, even if those injured in accidents are found partially at fault, they may still be eligible to receive partial compensation for damages through a Personal Injury Claim.
